1.Yangpyeong Dumulmuri
A short drive down the Namhan River past Paldang will take you to Dumulmu Head in Yangpyeong. The view of the mist and sunset is beautiful, and eating a hot dog is a must!
If you’re looking for other scenic cafes to enjoy in Yangpyeong, there’ s also Starbucks The Yangpyeong DTR branchwith a view of the Han River.

2.Icheon Yes Park
In Icheon, you’ll find a special community of artists. This is Yes Park, a symbolic art village in Icheon, famous for its ceramics. There are various workshops centered on ceramics, painting, woodworking, and more, and you can enjoy visiting each workshop to see cute small items, large porcelain, and other products.
Once you’ve driven to Yes Park and explored the cute workshops, why not grab coffee and bread at Icheon’s famous Ijinsanghoe and enjoy an open-air bath with a hot pool at Thermeden, a German-style spa?

3.Yeoju Gangcheon Island
Gangcheon Island, an island in the Namhan River, is a popular picnic spot with a large park and large trees. You can easily see families and couples picnicking here with tents or shade trees.
If you’re visiting Yeoju during the spring cherry blossom season, be sure to take a drive along the Yeoju Heungcheon Namhanganggang-gil, where the cherry blossom festival is held.

4.Gungpyeong Port, Hwaseong
Gungpyeong Harbor is famous for its beautiful sunsets, so make sure to time your visit for sunset. As you drive through the reed fields, you will soon come across Gungpyeong Beach and Gungpyeong Port. Depending on the time of year, you can watch the pale waves of the West Sea or the sunset on the tidal flats.

5.Ganghwa Island Nakjo Village
Nakjo Village in Ganghwa Island, which is also famous as the filming location for the drama ‘Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo‘, is also recommended for a drive. In particular, Janghwari Sunset Viewing Point is a place where you can watch the sun sink below the sea level right in front of the West Sea, which is a spectacular view of the sunset.
Ganghwa Island also has many other historical sightseeing spots and other leisure activities, making it a great day trip.
