1. Nighttime at Changgyeonggung Palace’s Large Greenhouse
Changgyeonggung Palace’s sunny botanical garden, Changgyeonggung Palace Conservatory, has a different charm when visited at night. The conservatory is open until 8:45 pm.
2. 2025 LOVESOME
April is a great time to spend time outside, and April weekends are filled with festivals. On the last weekend of April, Nanji Hangang Park hosts 2025 LOVESOME. Musicians from 10CM to Daybreak, Hong Isaac, Lee Seung Yoon, and more will be performing. For more information, check out their Instagram.

3. 2025 EDC KOREA
Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) festival is held at Incheon Inspire. Two places where you can meet EDM artists from all over the world. For more information, check out their Instagram.

4. Coldplay in concert
Eight years after their first concert in 2017, Coldplay returned to Korea for a six-day concert. Don’t give up hope just because you didn’t survive the bloodbath of ticketing. Tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the concert for the remaining seats, so don’t be discouraged.

5. Candlelight

April is the month for special Candlelight concerts. The Candlelight Cherry Bl ossoms are the perfect way to enjoy the cherry blossom season: A Tribute to Joe Hisaishi and Candlelight Cherry Blossoms: K-Pop, to Candlelight: Bridgerton OST, featuring music from Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton , and Candlelight: Coldplay Tribute. New classical music amongst flickering candlelight is a great way to spend April!
6. Ride
A 20 minute bike ride from Paldang, you’ll find Neungnyeok Station. The railroad tracks still remain, giving you the feeling of traveling back in time. With the Paldang Dam water stream and light tunnel running along the way, it’s a great place for a picnic on a warm spring day.
7. New York’s Masters on Display
Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. Even if you’re not interested in art, you’ve probably seen their works at least once in your life, and the exhibition “Masters of New York: Friends of Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko,” is on view at the Nowon Art Museum.

8. Alphonse Mucha Original Paintings Exhibition
‘Flowers of Art Nouveau: The Original Paintings of Alfons Mouha‘ is held in Seoul. The exhibition showcases the largest collection of posters by Alfonso Mouha, an Art Nouveau master who was active mainly in the Czech Republic and France.

9. Seoul Brewery Seongsu Branch
Beer brewed by Seoulites, with Seoul flavor, in Seoul. The Seoul Brewery Seongsu Branch is the largest brewery in Seoul, where you can enjoy a variety of beers and snacks.
10. Banpo Han River Park

Head to Banpo Han River Park in April to enjoy Han River Chimac, Han River Ramen, and a picnic along the Han River. From April to October, there is a 20-minute moonlight rainbow fountain show every day at noon and 7:30 p.m., every 30 minutes. The last fountain show is at 9pm, with one additional extension in July and August during peak season.
11. Paint Rabbit
If you’re looking for a unique date night activity this month, try action painting! You’ll be given an hour and 20 minutes to throw, shoot, and pour paint on a canvas in a protective suit. Spill it on the wall, get it on the floor, get it on your suit, it doesn’t matter. Action Painting Paintrabbit is a great way to have fun without being judged.
12. Go to a Chinese restaurant for Bleck Day
On April 14, let’s head to a Chinese restaurant for Black Day, the day of jajangmyeon. Hongdae‘s delicacies, five-spice dumplings, Mapo Buyounggak, Myeonghwa Garden in Samseongji, and holy water products. Find one near you.
13. Mugunbon
There is a bar near Exit 1 of Seongsu-dong. The name, the interior, and even the signature menu are all rootless. It’ s Mugibon. If you are in Seongsu-dong this evening and want to have fun without worrying about anything, why not head to this place where you can order several different cocktails.
14. Dido Jazz Lounge

If you’re feeling romantic or want to spend a little extra time tonight, head to this jazz lounge. The Dido Jazz Lounge is a jazz music venue located between the food stalls of Guui Station. It has been called a ‘dream stage’ by some jazz musicians, and the owner’s careful attention to detail is evident throughout the space, allowing the audience to feel the charm of jazz and focus on the musicians. 15. Seoul Parrot
Seoul Parrot is taking the dessert world by storm with its quen amant, but it’s also stealing the hearts of bakers with its wide variety of cookies and baked goods. The shop also offers plate customization, so spend some time decorating your plate while enjoying drinks and bread. If you’re heading to the nearby Seoul Forest for a picnic, don’t forget to pack a quen amant!
16. Lotte World

April and May are amusement park season! Head to Lotte World in Jamsil to enjoy the crystal clear Seokchon Lake and the rides, especially if you want to experience the school uniform experience.
17. Sunset Campgrounds
April is the perfect month for camping as it is neither too cold nor too hot. Enjoy camping at one of the sunset campgrounds located in the World Cup Park. This is the most popular of the city-run campgrounds, with Sky Park and Peace Park close by. Find more campgrounds near Seoul here.
