Ticketing used to be harder than it is nowadays…
The Dubai Chewy Cookie, which has become a national craze, is said to be hard to find.
Why are these chocolate balls that are less than the size of a palm causing such a fuss? According to the kids, there’s even a new term called ducketing.
So we’re here to help. From how to find the best places to get your hands on Dubai’s chewy cookies, to tips on ducketing, to how to make your own!
Here’s everything you need to know.
🧆What the heck are Dubai Chewy Cookies?
A chewy cookie version of the social media sensation that is Dubai chocolate. The chewy Middle Eastern flour noodles are mixed with a pistachio spread and covered in chewy chocolate marshmallows, and you’ve got yourself a Dubai Chewy Cookie.
The combination of sweet and chewy on the outside and crunchy and nutty pistachios on the inside is quite addictive.
🧆How to choose a delicious Dubai Chewy Cookie:
1. Check out the word ‘raw’!
It’s a phrase you see a lot on Instagram. It’s not just a pistachio spread, but real nuts and pistachios, which are more likely to maximize the nutty flavor and crunchy texture. The more ingredients they don’t skimp on, the better.
2. Check the ingredients!
Places that use premium ingredients like Valrhona cocoa powder or Kahlibaut white chocolate will usually advertise them. Check to see if they use these premium ingredients!
3. Advertise that you make your own pistachio spread!
If you use homemade spreads, you’re golden! They have a deep, nutty flavor that you can’t get anywhere else.

🎟️두켓팅 Tips for success
I’ve never been successful at ticketing, let alone double ticketing.
I’m usually a bit of a quitter, so I don’t even try, but I’ve compiled a list of tips for readers that I’ve gathered from online reviews and the blood, sweat, and tears of my friends.
1.Download the NAVER Plus Store App
This is where most of the pros seem to try to ducket. You can check out popular restaurants, delivery locations, and opening hours at a glance, so it’s a great place to start.
2. Be on time
Punctuality is key when it comes to ticketing and ducketing!
You’ll need to use your navigational skills to see the exact time down to the second and then move your fingers like crazy when the opening time comes up.
I haven’t used this feature since I signed up for the course, but it’s recommended for those who are desperate for Dutonku.
3. Don’t be greedy about quantity!
If you overstate the quantity, other people will steal it! Be grateful that you have at least one item in your cart. Don’t adjust the quantity and go to the “Checkout” window for now.
4. Refresh like crazy even if it’s out of stock!
According to reviews, even if an item is out of stock, it can sometimes become available again after a failed or canceled order. Just pull down on the store app to refresh it! Don’t give up easily and keep pulling down. I’ve heard stories of people refreshing over 20 times and still being able to purchase.
4. Leave it in your cart if it’s out of stock
What if you didn’t make it to the checkout, but you did manage to add it to your cart? The Napper Plus Store app allows you to “checkout” the next time it opens. If you don’t succeed in ducketing this week, you can always try next week. Just hit checkout right from the cart!
🧆 In the mood for something a little different than Dubai chewy cookies?
1.Miel Bakery
If you’re not satisfied with the Dubai Chewy Cookie that only lasts for three bites, we recommend the Dubai Chewy Tongdae Chang, which is six times the size of a regular chewy cookie and can be eaten with gusto. If you want to eat a whole handful of Dubai Chewy Cookies like a greedy medieval nobleman, this is the place to go.
2. Go Eun Inne Taiyaki
A steamed restaurant that only the locals know about. It sells dubai chewy taiyaki. If you want to taste Dubai in a representative winter snack, visit Go Eun Ine Taiyaki in Sinwon Market.

🧆 My honest review of Duzonku
On New Year’s Day, I was lucky enough to find a Duchoncu pop-up in a department store I happened to be in, and I was able to try it without much effort. To conclude, yes, it’s delicious.
However, if you ask me if they’re good enough to make me stand in line for hours or buy them week after week, my honest answer is a resounding no.
But there’s more to Duzhonkou than just a delicious dessert. It’s about the joy of a hard-earned prize, and the sense of relief and connection that comes with finally joining the ranks of those who have tasted it.
This thrill from the novelty of ducketing seems to be fueling the trend.
If you’re simply looking for something delicious, something chewy and crunchy, you’re spoiled for choice in Seoul. Of course, as a Secret Seoul writer, I can give you plenty of recommendations.
However, if you want to enjoy this trend like a game, and include the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve made it through the ‘sold out’ and ‘fierce competition’, then ‘duzonku’ is definitely worth the challenge.
Whether it’s the food your grandmother used to make when you were a kid or the steamed chicken you used to eat in college, food is not just a momentary experience.
It’s also a device for remembering a time.
Later, everyone remembers the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026,
If I can be part of the conversation and laugh when they say, “Everyone was lining up to eat Duzonku back then,” then I think Duzonku has done its job.
While some people may roll their eyes at this trend and say, “What are you waiting in line for,” maybe we’re just creating one more thing to laugh about and connect with when we get together with our favorite people in the future.
