🚀 Waterbomb 2026: What’s Different?

This year, Waterbomb evolves beyond a simple festival into a massive art space. Through an exclusive design collaboration with world-renowned pop artist Steven Harrington, the festival grounds will be filled with striking pop art structures and large-scale visual installations. Limited-edition collaboration merchandise, available only on-site, is another must-see highlight.
In addition, the water gun battle area (Water Bomb Zone) has been optimized, and the gate flow has been significantly improved to reduce the long lines that were a chronic problem.
🎤 Waterbomb Seoul 2026 Lineup
The highlight of Waterbomb is the showdown between the Green Team and the Yellow Team. The unwritten rule is to check the lineupand book tickets for the team that includes your favorite artist.

🟢 Green Team vs. 🟡 Yellow Team? Everything You Need to Know About Choosing a Team!
If you visited the Waterbomb booking page, you might have been confused when asked to choose between the “Green Team” and the “Yellow Team.” There’s absolutely no need to worry and wonder, “Do we watch different stages depending on which team we choose?”

This team system isn’t about dividing the stage; it’s a concept for assigning teams for Waterbomb’s signature large-scale water gun fight!

- The Fun of Teaming Up with the Artists: When an artist from your chosen team takes the stage, cheer them on by shouting, “Our team captain!” And when an artist from the opposing team comes on stage, have fun playfully aiming your water gun at them. The artists will also be firing water cannons relentlessly at the opposing team’s audience!
- Waterbomb Time: When the “Battle” sign appears on the scoreboard during the performance, a massive water gun battle begins with audience members wearing the colors of opposing teams—no holds barred.
- Outfit Tip: It’s not mandatory, but if you match your outfit to your chosen team’s color (green or yellow), you’ll feel more like part of the group and your photos will turn out much better! So I recommend choosing a team color that matches your personal color palette.
- Tip for going with friends: Although the space isn’t divided, if you’re on different teams, you’ll end up facing each other as “enemies” and having to fight. So, we strongly recommend that you book tickets as a single team with your friendswhenever possible!
💦 Is this your first time at Waterbomb? (Beginner’s Survival Guide)

If you’re going to Waterbomb for the first time, heading there unprepared will likely leave you soaked and exhausted. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the following four essential tips before you go.
- Pre-download the Queens Smile app: All food courts (F&B) at the festival site operate exclusively on a pre-reservation systemvia the Queens Smile app. If you don’t prepay for meal vouchers for your desired time slot in advance, you might end up having to participate in the water gun fight on an empty stomach.
- Tips for Choosing a Water Gun: The small water guns sold at Daiso for 5,000 won are good. However, Daiso water guns have a short range, making them perfect for getting soaked one-sidedly. We recommend purchasing a large, pressurized water gun online in advance. You can also buy water guns at the Water Bomb venue, but since they’re a bit pricey, it’s better to buy one beforehand.
- Essential Items (Goggles & Waterproof Pouch): Wear clothes that dry quickly, such as a rash guard or shorts. Clear goggles are not optional— they’re a must. With water spraying from all directions, you won’t be able to keep your eyes open and watch the stage without them. Be sure to bring a sturdy waterproof pouch to protect your smartphone, as well as a change of clothes and a towel to change intoafter the festival when taking the subway.
- Locker Service and Entry Times: While headliner performances are concentrated in the late afternoon and evening, we recommend arriving with plenty of time to spare—around 2:00–3:00 PM—to allow time for checking your bags and changing clothes. If you miss the final entry cutoff time (usually around 7:00 PM), you may not be admitted even if you have a ticket.
📍 How to Get to KINTEX & Tips for Getting Home

Parking around KINTEX is expected to be a nightmare that day, so taking public transportation is definitely better for your mental health.
- If you’re taking the subway: Get off at Daehwa Station on Line 3and take Exit 1. You’ll see a crowd of people already holding water guns; just follow them for about 12 minutes, and you’ll see the outdoor stage at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2.
- Tip for heading home: The last trains on Line 3 heading back to Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Gangnam get incredibly crowded with people who are wet and exhausted. If you want to conserve your energy, it’s a great idea to either book a place to stay near KINTEX or reserve a paid shuttle busin advance throughQueens Smile!
⛺ Want to relax in luxury? The “Caravan Lounge” is now open!
For those who say, “I’m not physically fit enough to stand in the rain for 9 hours straight,” or “We want to relax and have fun privately among ourselves,” the Caravan Lounge will be open this year. Located just a 1-minute walk from the festival grounds, it offers excellent accessibility.
- Guaranteed relaxation: After a fierce water gun battle, you can come inside anytime to cool off in the air conditioning, rest, and comfortably change your clothes or freshen up. (Highly recommended for hardworking professionals who run out of energy easily!)
- How to Use: Access is available only through advance reservation via the “Book the Caravan Lounge ” section on the official website; this is separate from general standing tickets or VIP tables.
- If you want to enjoy a luxurious and leisurely summer vacation vibe with your closest friends, securing a spot in the Caravan Lounge is a great strategy to enjoy the festival to the fullest! You’ll be completely free from the stress of standing in long, damp lines or dealing with the hassle of the coat check. 😉
