1. Cafe Wild Duck
Wild Duck is one of the hottest food and lifestyle brands in Seoul right now. Wild Duck is also located in Yaksudong, which has become a weekend destination in recent years. In addition to the cafe menu, you can find Middle Eastern and Thai brunch.

2. House of Wild
Wild Duck has just unveiled another new space. House of Wild is located on the right as you climb the stairs in front of Itaewon’s landmark Islamic Center. It’s somewhere between Hills & Europa and Cafe Wild Duck, with Wild Duck’s own exotic identity. House of Wild also publishes a self-edited newspaper, which shows that it has a clear path as a brand beyond the food space.

3. Le Pool
Le Pool is located on Jeongdong-gil. It is always crowded with people who come for brunch on weekends at this time of year. The red brick and secret archway make the space a mysterious corner. The flavorful sandwiches and green views are enough to keep you occupied.

4. Lagrin
Next to Ewha Womans High School across the street is the friend cafe La Green. The stone wall of the cafe is surrounded by furniture reminiscent of Parisian cafes, making for a lovely scene. If you like Le Pool’s cozy flavor, La Greene, with its tall windows and spacious terrace, has another charm. They also have a brunch menu.

5. Cafe Sopora
This is the kind of place you want to keep to yourself. Inside Space Sopora, a gallery located next to Deoksugung Palace, is Cafe Sopora. You might not expect much from the entrance, which is just a counter, but if you grab a coffee and go up to the second floor terrace, you will be rewarded with a relaxing view. You can see the green park to your left and the skyline across Gwanghwamun Station, from Sae Moon An Church to Jonathan Brodsky’s The Hammer, behind you on the right. The warm-colored tiles that match the red table and chairs add to the ambiance.

6. Coffee shop
A short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Gyeongbokgung Station and Gwanghwamun Square, you can take a quiet stroll through the narrow alleys of Sajik-dong. The small terrace on the small deck is a great place to have a quiet conversation. If you’re visiting alone, you can spend some time reading a book from the owner’s bookshelf, who loves literature and art.

7. Decked
If you’re looking for a quick drink on the terrace instead of coffee, head to Deked. You won’t have the comfort of being surrounded by a garden, but the terrace seats that open up to the street in the middle of Seochon will make you the envy of passersby just by sitting there. You might even end up eating there after you’ve had a drink, mesmerized by the food at the next table. And of course, there’s coffee.

8. Stapix
One of the first places that comes up when you search for terrace cafes in Seoul. It’s literally just beautiful, with giant ginkgo trees that have stood the test of time and a view of the hills below. It would be a shame to leave it out. There is also a small shop inside the cafe.

10. Propper Coffee Bar No.2
Somewhere in Bangdong, far from Songridan-gil and Olympic Park, it is not a place where people who go out rarely gather. The second branch of Proper Coffee Bar is located between the apartment buildings. The dense tiles of the old mall building and the charming view of the apartments are attractive. There’s also a bakery.
