Outlets are a place where you can enjoy shopping, eating, going out, and other attractions all in one place. Here’s a list of outlets you can visit near Seoul.
1. Shinsegae Premium Outlets
Shinsegae Premium Outlets has branches in Yeoju, Paju, and Siheung, with other locations in Busan and Jeju. It is one of the outlets that boasts a strong lineup of brands, from international luxury goods to contemporary brands and other miscellaneous goods.
The exotic-looking buildings are surrounded by beautiful landscaping that makes you feel like you’re in a foreign country. There are plenty of places to sit and relax, and pop-ups and programs are held all the time. Some of the Shinsegae Premium Outlets also host Christmas markets during the Christmas season.

2. Hyundai Outlets
Hyundai Outlets is divided into Hyundai Premium Outlets and Hyundai Outlets. Hyundai Premium Outlets are located in Gimpo and Songdo, Daejeon and Namyangju Dasan, and Hyundai Outlets are located in Dongdaemun and Gasan, Songpa Garden Five and Daegu.
Three of the outlets are located in Seoul, and many others are located in the nearby suburbs for easy accessibility. The outlets are decorated for each season using Hyundai Department Store’s ‘Whitey’ character, and the Gimpo outlet has a waterway and fountain plaza, as well as several photo zones. 3. Lotte Outlets
Lotte also operates premium outlets and regular outlets. There are Lotte Premium Outlets in Uiwang, Giheung, Icheon, and Paju, and Lotte Outlets in Goyang, Gwanggyo, Guri, and Seoul Station.
These shopping malls are built like a village with a variety of food, cafes, and many discount stores. 4. Starfield
Starfield is a shopping, leisure, and healing complex in one place. It is located in major metropolitan areas such as Hanam and Goyang, COEX, Anseong, and Suwon.
It covers a wide range of shopping categories, from fashion to miscellaneous goods to furniture. It also functions as a leisure theme park with attractions and entertainment such as a library and aquarium. For locations and more information, see here.
5. Mario Outlets
While Starfield, The Hyundai, and other leading outlets and department stores are attracting attention, Mario Outlets quietly occupies the spot as the largest shopping mall in Geumcheon-gu. It opened in 2001 and is still in operation today. It holds the title of ‘Asia’s largest urban premium outlet’ and has more than 750 domestic and international brands. The official website is here.
6. Newkoa Outlets (NC, 2001)
Newkoa Outlets are department store-type outlets operated by Eland Retail and are mostly located in urban centers. They have a wide range of accessible and affordable brands, so you can easily spend your money. For the official website, see the Eland Retail website.
