You can’t expect kids to become independent thinkers just by sitting at a desk for hours on end. Spending enough time outside of the classroom in unstructured learning will definitely give your child the opportunity to have creative experiences.
If you’re looking for learning games and activities to do with your childthis weekend, KidsRun is a great option. KidsRun offers programs that allow kids to work on their own missions with the help of a teacher. The KidsLearn Museum Exhibition is a signature program that uses the museum as a backdrop for play, allowing kids to explore every nook and cranny like a board game while learning about history, culture, and science.
The Kids’ Museum Exhibition is designed for teams of about eight children. The recommended age is between 2nd and 5th grade, and kids can play alone or with a sibling or friend. Using the provided workbooks, skill cards, and quizzes as a guide, the three-hour game is designed to help kids develop observation, problem-solving, short-term memory, and imagination in both cooperative and competitive team competitions.
It’s also worth noting that KidsRun uses its own story and characters to keep kids engaged. Along with the narrative of the two rival characters, boss special missions, reversal opportunities, and end-of-game quizzes are carefully placed in the right places to keep kids engaged.
There’s nothing more frustrating than having a highly anticipated activity day canceled due to inclement weather. The weather shouldn’t stop kids from learning. Indoor exhibitions at the KidsLearn Museum are not subject to the weather.
The Kids Run Museum exhibit can be found in museums across the country, not just in Seoul. It is held at the National Museum of Korea and the Gwacheon National Science Museum, and there are also programs in local museums such as the Busan National Maritime Museum and the Daejeon National Science Museum.
