Non-stop energy, vibrant music that awakens the senses, smoke, water, and wind in the air. The show that has taken the world by storm, Fuerza Barta’s ‘Aben’ is coming to Seoul for the first time in Asia.
Founded in Argentina in 2003 , Puerta Bourta has been breaking down the boundaries between reality and fantasy by utilizing the freedom of space to push the limits of stage performance. The company’s new performance “Aben,” a show that stimulates all of your senses in ways you’ve never felt before, iscoming to Seoul on March 18th. Puerta Bourta has previously been successfully performed at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland, Lollapalooza in Brazil, Broadway, Las Vegas, and more.
The 14 actors in Puerta Bura’s “Aben” will be performing against the backdrop of a massive set. Water and wind add dynamic energy to the already dramatic scenes. Large-scale sculptures new to the show, including a globe, whale, and butterfly, add to the surreal atmosphere, creating a dreamlike experience. Intense music and percussive sounds fill the space.
Running until June at the FB Theater in Seongsu Cultural Arts Center, Fuerza Barta’s “Aben” consists of a 70-minute main performance and a DJ performance. DJ performances will be held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the second performance. Puerta bourta has become a genre unto itself.
