1. Fire Station Safety Experience Center
If you’re looking for a more dynamic space than a museum that combines education and play in one place, the Fire Station Safety Experience Center is perfect for you. You can experience disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, and traffic accidents, as well as specialized experiences such as CPR. Reservations are required online and can be made up to three months in advance. In Seoul, there are safety experience centers at Gwangnaru and Boramae, and you can find more nationwide here.

2. Kimchi School for Kids
The Kimchi Museum Museum Kimchigan in Pulmuwon runs a kimchi school for children. There are programs for ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 13, and you can try your hand at making different types of kimchi every month, from yuzu white kimchi to radish kimchi. You can sign up for the next month’s program on the third Wednesday of each month. Children can participate for free, but there is a 5,000 won admission fee for parents.

3. National Museum of Korea Children’s Museum
The National Museum of Korea has a museum just for children. In May, there are special programs that talk about children’s education, psychology, health, and future. It is also operated by online reservation system.

4. Korea Museum of History
The Korea Museum of History is also free to enter, where you can experience modern Korean history in a day. The rooftop garden on the 8th floor is also a hidden view restaurant. You can also take a dip in the fountain at Gwanghwamun Square afterward. On this Children’s Day holiday, Seoul Spring Festa is also taking place nearby, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly.

5. Yongsan Family Park
This park doesn’t have much to offer, but kids just need a field to run around in. From Yongsan Family Park to Seoul Forest, Buk Seoul Dream Forest, Children’s University Park, and other parks around Seoul. Yongsan Family Park is located next to Yongsan Children’s Garden.
