From Mickey Mouse to Frozen, Star Wars to the MCU. The Walt Disney Company has been inspiring the world for 100 years with a worldview that spans Earth and space. ‘100 Years of Disney’, a special exhibition of Disney’s magical stories, will be held at K Museum of Contemporary Art from October 18th.
Disney 100 Years Special Exhibition is the largest exhibition ever organized by the Walt Disney Archives team and features more than 250 original artworks. It has already been successfully held in the U.S., U.K., and Germany, and is coming to Korea for the first time in Asia .
The dense organization of films, clips, and costumes, including animated artwork, will leave longtime Disney fans breathless. Visitors can also see materials from Disney’s history, such as the stock certificate of the first animation company founded by Walt Disney in 1923, and a “Mickey the Sorcerer’s Apprentice” art balloon commemorating the exhibition at the Olympic Park.
