The Korean Bam Bam Song Concert, presented by the Korea Tourism Organization and Candlelight, is coming to Seongjuand Gongjuon September 20th. The concert will be held at an unfamiliar nighttime tourist spot where it has been difficult to meet Candlelight, and is expected to provide a special experience.
Korea Bam Bam Gogok Gogokis a Candlelight touring concert held in cities specializing in night tourism selected by the Korea Tourism Organization, and has become Candlelight’s signature series since its inception in 2023, lighting up the nights of local attractions every year. This year, it will be held on September 20 in Seongju, the star town of Seongju, and Gongju, which preserves the culture of Baekje, Woongjin.
The Candlelight Concert presents a magical time with live music and lights. Until now, Candlelight has only been staged in cities with populations of 200,000 or more in Asia, making it difficult for smaller cities like Seongju (about 40,000 people) and Gongju (about 100,000 people) to experience it. The fact that it will be held in two cities that specialize in night tourism is significant in itself, and demonstrates the efforts that the Korea Tourism Organization has made to expand access to culture across the country. Best of all, it is co-organized with the local governments and is freefor everyone to attend.

At Seongsan-dong Tomb Group in Seongju, you can enjoy a free show for kids and the whole family called Candlelight: Twinkle Seongju‘ will be held at the tombs in Seongsan-dong. From Frozen to Aladdin, the program consists of a medley of OSTs from Disney’s iconic animations, as well as familiar songs that you can’t help but hum along to, such as “Where the Wind Blows,” “Love That Hurts Too Much Isn’t Love,” and more. Gongushi is set in Communist China, where the Candlelight: Princess on Night‘ against the backdrop of Communism. It is an unusual program that presents a passionate Spanish flamenco performance in a space that embraces Korean tradition, and will add to the emotion of the stage with an arrangement of “Beautiful Country,” a lyrical depiction of Korea’s beautiful seasons and nature.
Each performance lasts about 65 minutes and doors open 30 minutes before the show starts. If you’re traveling away from the big city, looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, or just want to enjoy the fall nights of September with music, this is a concert not to be missed.
