The Korean Professional Baseball League has become the first professional sport in Korea to exceed 10 million spectators. We introduce the food representing the baseball stadiums in the Seoul metropolitan area. There are many foods that go well with beer.
1. Jamsil Baseball Stadium
The baseball stadium of the Doosan Bears and LG Twins. It’s the most accessible stadium, so even if you’re not a die-hard baseball fan, it’s a great place to try dip. Jamsil Baseball Stadium’s specialty is whole rice balls. There are kimchi rolled noodles and pork belly bento boxes that you can eat in line. The Jamsil One Shot photo with the field in the background has become a must-see at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. They also sell snacks and drink sets that remind you of cola pop.
2. Incheon SSG Landers Field
SSG Landersfield has a solid food lineup, from Starbucks with Landersfield-exclusive energy drinks to Shinsegae affiliate Power. The most popular dish is the cream shrimp at the station, which has a long line.
3. Gocheok Ballpark
You don’t have to travel to Incheon to enjoy cream shrimp in front of the field. The Kiwoom Heroes’ Gocheok Baseball Stadium doesn’t have any specialty restaurants, but it is famous for its cream shrimp.
4. KT Wiz Park in Suwon
Suwon’s baseball stadium is home to two great restaurants: Jinmi Tongdak and Bo Young Mandu. The next best thing about these two restaurants is that you can order in advance on the Wiz Park app and pick them up at your reservation time.
