A massive street cheering event, the largest ever, will take place right in the heart of downtown Seoul for the 2026 North and Central America World Cup.

In this group stage, the South Korean national soccer team, led by Head Coach Hong Myung-bo, will face off against the Czech Republic, Mexico, and South Africa. All three matches will be broadcast in the morning (KST). If you need to take a half-day off in advance, check the times below!

Gwanghwamun Square (Jongno)
The matches will be broadcast live in stunning high definition on two large media walls installed on the exterior ofthe KT Gwanghwamun Building West and on relay screens placed throughout Gwanghwamun Square.

KT Onmaru ‘National Soccer Team Pop-up ’: A special pop-up store is opening at ‘KT Onmaru,’ a multi-cultural space located on the 2nd floor of the KT Gwanghwamun Building West. Ten commemorative plaques from past World Cup appearances will be unveiled together for the first time, and visitors can view a display of retro uniforms and purchase official national team merchandise (MD). Various digital experience zones will also be available, including AI-powered caricature drawing and the creation of cheering-themed images.
Yeouido KIS SQUARE
KIS SQUARE, locatedin front of the Korea Investment & Securities headquarters in Yeouido, will be transformed into a World Cup cheering square.

Things to Do and Eat: In addition to large screens for watching the matches, there will be an event zone where you can enjoy various activities, food trucks to satisfy your hunger, and vendors selling a variety of World Cup merchandise to fuel the cheering spirit.
